Sales Account Executive
Overview of the role
We have ambitious plans to grow direct sales by 2x in 2024. We are looking for a Sales Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves the thrill of closing deals, can autonomously project manage the sales cycle and cares about reducing the carbon impact of packaging on our planet.
You’ll report into: Adam Cousins, Head of Sales
What your days at Sourceful will look like
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from qualification conversations with prospective clients to closing deals
- Serve as the principal point of contact for key stakeholders at each stage of the sales cycle, building and maintaining relationships with them to identify their needs, timelines, budgets and constraints
- Effectively manage our internal CRM and reporting systems to align sales efforts with overall business objectives, whilst providing the opportunity to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Liaise internally with our Ops, Sourcing, Design, Sustainability and Tech teams, leveraging their expertise to provide best advice on the sustainability impact of various product choices, whilst taking the customer’s preferences and budget into account
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms with customers and close on deals
- Provide feedback to our Tech and Management team to continually improve our product and service offering, aiming to exceed client expectations
The skills and experience that will help you to thrive in your role
- You possess strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills
- You have B2B sales experience in developing a client pipeline and closing deals
- You have project management experience and high attention to detail to ensure delivery of multiple complex client projects on-time and meeting/exceeding expectations
- You're capable of identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions to overcome obstacles and objections
- You have an appreciation of the value of teamwork, and natural inclination to go above and beyond to help your peers and the business as a whole
- You possess strong numerical and commercial acumen
- You have an ambition and drive to deliver the best results for our clients
- You have a track record of thriving in target-driven environment
- You have passion and enthusiasm for both our clients and sustainability-related topics
