Overview of the role
This role will be responsible for selling to and qualifying new business opportunities for Sourceful. They will help grow the pipeline at Sourceful in our journey to explosive growth. Be one of the early members of the BDR team generating opportunities focused on inbound marketing-generated leads, referrals. Opportunity to grow into a closing or leadership position.
You’ll report into: Katy Svennas (VP of Growth) and then to a BDR leader
What your days at Sourceful will look like
- As an Inbound BDR, your role will consist in convincing companies to use the Sourceful Platform to get packaging that’s better for them and the planet!
- Processing inbound leads coming to us directly (through our website, chatbot, contact forms etc.)
- Generating new business opportunities by responding to these leads (via chat, email, calls), introducing Sourceful, qualifying the leads by asking them the right questions to understand their needs and the opportunity, and ultimately, handing them over to one of our CRM/AEs
- You’ll have the autonomy, tools and volume of leads needed to maximise your time and to ensure targets are met
- In a nutshell, your day would consist in: 60% response and qualification of leads (through calling, live chat, emails, or video calls), 30% following-up, 10% reporting and L&D.
The skills and experience that will help you to thrive in your role
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a warm, positive and energetic phone/video presence
- You're highly motivated to hit targets, ambitious, and hard-working
- You're well organised and a fast learner
- You are comfortable with picking up the phone and cold-calling a range of prospects at senior levels in mid-market to enterprise companies (CEO/Co-Founder/Director)
- You are creative and open to new approaches for engagement, prospecting, and lead conversion
- You have a willingness to learn, lean into new challenges through critical thinking and a practical approach
- Experience using Outreach, Salesforce, working in a start-up or Tech company are all beneficial
- Experience in an outbound B2B sales role is always beneficial
