Overview of role
As a PPC Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our Google Ads campaigns to drive sales and attract new customers to our online packaging platform. Your expertise in pay-per-click advertising will be instrumental in increasing our online visibility, improving our click-through rates, and ultimately, boosting our conversion rates.
You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our PPC campaigns, from keyword research and campaign structure, to ad copywriting, and performance analysis. Your keen eye for data and analytics will ensure our campaigns are continuously optimized for maximum ROI.
The PPC Executive role is a key part of the Marketing team at Sourceful, working closely with the Performance Marketing Manager and General Manager for Self-Serve. You will regularly connect with Business Development and CRM teams in order to understand customer needs, business objectives and contribute to our overall business growth.

What your days at Sourceful will look like
- Creating structured and effective PPC campaigns from scratch in Google Ads, including keyword research and writing Ad copy
- Conducting weekly optimisation of our Google Ads campaigns to improve performance and increase the number of conversions
- Providing weekly reports to our Performance Marketing Manager on campaign results, optimisations that have been made and opportunities for further growth
- Developing and executing a continuous testing plan with support from the Performance Marketing Manager
- Developing an in-depth understanding of our target audience, their needs and proposing ways in which we can tailor our PPC activity to appeal to them
- Collaborating with our Performance Marketing Manager, General Manager for Self-Serve and Creative team to produce captivating Google Ads campaign material
- Conducting competitor research to inform our PPC campaign strategy
- Researching industry best practices and looking for new PPC opportunities that could drive more conversions
The skills and experience that will help you to thrive in your role
- At least 2-years of experience using Google Ads to create, optimise and manage Paid Search campaigns is essential for this role
- Strong, hands-on PPC experience, within an agency or in-house role
- Proven analytic skills to interpret and communicate data-driven decisions
- Confident with working independently and in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
Desirable skills
- Experience in setting up and managing the whole suite of Google Ads formats such as: Shopping, PMax and Display campaigns
- Experience designing conversion focused PPC landing pages
- Previous experience within an e-commerce or start-up environment
