About the role
We have ambitious plans to grow direct sales by 4x in 2023. We are looking for a Sales Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves the thrill of closing deals, and cares about reducing the carbon impact of packaging on our planet.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding potential clients to closing deals
- Develop and execute sales strategies to draw in new customers (Outbound and Inbound)
- Serve as the principal point of contact for potential customers, building relationships with them to identify their needs, timelines, budgets and constraints
- Liaise internally with our Sustainability, Design, Sourcing and Tech teams to provide best advice on the sustainability impact of various product choices, taking the customer’s preferences and budget into account
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms with customers and close on deals
- Provide feedback to our Tech and Management team to continually improve our product and service offering to positively surprise our clients
- Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- B2B sales experience in developing pipeline and closing deals
- Packaging knowledge and experience preferred
- Project management experience and high attention to detail to ensure delivery of multiple complex client projects on-time and meeting/exceeding expectations
- Appreciation of the value of teamwork, and natural inclination to go above and beyond to help your peers and the business as a whole
- Strong numerical and commercial acumen
